I Need a Compass
I have finally decided for certain that I will do my project on entrepreneurship. Accomplishing that alone was like walking with a chain and ball. Now that I know what I want to do it should be easier to get through my project; however, that is not the case. I know what I want to do but I have no sense of how I am going to get to my destination. I want this project to give hope and make people dream big. I know it's hard to run a successful business, but I am ready for the challenge. I have already started car wash this past summer. Though it wasn't the greatest success or as I wanted, it was and still is a source of greater income than working at a minimum wage job. The reasons for the lack of great success was 1) lack of experience, 2) lack of planning and preparation, and 3) self doubt. Now that I have some experience I want to go for a second round, a more polished round. I am in search of someone with business experience that is willing to give me guidance.

I like the fact that you are thinking big, and that you are relating this project to something you want to pursue in the future. I think this helps your project because then later on when you go to college and become a business man you can look back to this blog. I think you should more specific on how your previous project went wrong, and what are some of the things you need to fix. Also you might what to think in what kind of business you might be interested in. Maybe car wash did not work out because you do not like washing cars. Maybe you like different stuff like cutting hair and you to start a business about that. I think that once you find your passion about what you really want to do in business the project will be easier. Its going to be extremely hard because as you said you are a beginner and did not have much experience, but I think in this situation taking risks, and making up your mind will really help you. My dad has a business because he really did not like working for anyone, but his business is related to his profession. He sales and repairs computers and since he likes what he does his business goes really well.
ReplyDeleteYou just need to take a stab at something you like and elaborate on it.
I like that you want the next round to be more polished. Nice pun.
